Most heroes have around 70 base stats.
Most heroes have 2 base armor.
Most heroes have around 300-310 move speed. (Speed demon is 350, paladin is 260)
Most heroes have around +9 stats gained per level.
Most Heroes have 0 base damage.
Most Heroes have 100 base HP and MP.
AGI ranged heroes have ~2.5 base attack speed
AGI melee heroes have ~2.2 base attack speed
INT ranged heroes have ~2.05 base attack speed
INT melee heroes have ~2.0 base attack speed
STR ranged heroes have ~2.4 base attack speed
STR melee heroes have ~2.0 base attack speed
The fastest attacking heroes are timmy and slithery, with 1.95 on timmy and 1.90 on Slithery

- For every bonus you give a hero, you must subtract from it somewhere else.
- You can give a hero more starting HP, mana/life regen, more/less range, base damage, ect
- I am looking for BALANCED ideas! If you can make me a hero that is balanced, and not OP (Like 90% of suggestions are) then chances are, your hero WILL be added!
- Keep basic skills simple. They dont level yet, so pick something basic and simple. You can use a base skill that is already in the game. OP suggestions will be ignored, as will complex basic skills.
- No Flying units will be allowed on the map
- No hero range over 700
- No move speed over 450
- No attack speed under 1.9
- Hero Skins can be any skin in the game (Creeps included)

Hero Name (Slithery)
Hero Skin (Naga Royal Guard)
Hero Type (STR Melee)
Stats and bonus (18+2 int, 22+2 agi, 26 +3str)
Base Armor (3)
Move Speed (340)
Base Attack (1.9)

Base Ability (Breath of Frost - A general description of the skill)
Anything Additional (Changes to base HP, base damage, regen, range, ect)
Please use at least a similar format, it helps me a LOT when I am filling in all the values.

Hero Skin: Kel'Thuzard, Ghost Form (attack animation could be Destroyers Annihilation Missile)
Hero Type: INT range
Stats and bonus: 29+2.8 int, 17+2.2 agi, 24+1.9 str
Base Armor: 1
Move Speed: 300
Base Attack: 2

Base Ability: Manipulated Bones (If the target non-hero unit dies under the effect of this ability the bones of the dead unit will become a skeleton minon. Effect lasts for 5 seoncds.)
Anything Additional: Necromancer have a bit higher life and mana reg, because he have only 1 base armor and only +6.5 stats per level.


I hope this hero is balanced and u will use him.

Base Armor: 2
Move Speed: 280
Base Attack: 2.2

Base Ability: Electric Release (base on thunder clap: slow down the movespeed and attackspeed of all enemies in an 200 aoe for 5 seconds. deal no damage. The slowed enemies shouldn't have the slow animation of thunderclap at overhead. Instead of that they should have a purge animation. The caster don't need the thunder clap animation because gnoll wardens have a nice spell animation.)
Anything Additional: because he have only 280 move speed he should have more base hp.

Base Ability: Focus Fire (Temporarily increases attack speed and attack damage but will lose ALOT of movement speed perhaps around 70% as the hero focuses his fire on targets more, perhaps he could have the bloodlust spell effect placed onto him without the size change to indicate it)


This is just a base of a hero feel free to change them as you will but i have noticed we have a space orc in the game but no marine, would be a hero who i would chose and would love for you to add him into the game Very Happy

I added a marine with similar stats in the newer edit, check it out. If it isnt close enough to what you want, I can work some numbers with your idea, and slap a new skin on it.

good armor, good movement speed for him and thats the skin i meant, perhaps a name change to suit the marine more? taken from wh40k:

and perhaps the focus fire skill or something closer to it? inner fire doesnt really seem to suit the marine im not sure what others believe on it and is his icon changable to something closer?


On a side note is the -tint command able to be looked into ? its not working on a RGB basis and can only be black/brown or blue from what ive typed, it seems a bit buggy Surprised

99% of people done know how to use the tint command...

it is:

-tintX X X

X is a number0-9.
The first X is red, the second X is blue, and the third X is green. The higher the number, the more color.

9 9 0 gives purple
9 0 9 gives gold
0 9 9 gives teal
9 0 0 gives red
0 9 0 gives blue
0 0 9 gives green

if you use numbers in between, you can find various shades. But, those are the basic colors.

As for the hero suggestions here...
For innate skills, I am not going to make a custom trigger skill for an innate on a hero. that is pointless. If some dont fit the "look" of the hero, look at what the hero does. I tried making the skills work well with the way the hero would be played. He is a high damage, high armor hero... his innate increases damage and armor... It fits the hero like a glove!

ohh i see its not based on a 255 255 255 like 255 0 0 then lol :p and alright about the innate skill, understandable, but any way the avatar could be changed from the rifleman? not sure if he has any icon or if one could perhaps be taken from something such as undead assault 2 ?


edit: when playing something called european infection or something earlier i noticed the same marine model but he had a very well done minigun as a weapon, i have no idea if it was custom to that map but it looked like a product of blizzard as how well it was done, perhaps this model could be replaced with that one as it suits a more slow moving hero, just suggesting ^^

yeah, I was a little worried about his icon, but the world editor says that the rifilman, and marine have the same icon. I may have to go to the hive and download one fitting for him.

I will admit, I dont usually take "is the pretty" into account when I edit... I just try to enhance the game. I really should start importing more custom models and icons.

Edit: would it be possible to rename the marine to the selection of space marine names i listed? would suit him alot more, space marines names ftw :p its only small but its fun i guess

instead of rename i think the above might be decent, not sure on their base skills though, perhaps the same? maybe you could add like a regiment of troops from the warhammer series, they could fit in quite well with the skills etc

Base Armor: 0
Move Speed: 280
Base Attack: 5
Base Damage : 110

I decrease the Attack Speed to 2,5 normal times, in order to increase his base damage 110 ( about 2,5 time of his lv1 damage)
He is a mage with low speed and hp but high destruction attack, and Base Damage is completedly calculated ^^

Base Ability: Burning Meteor (Passive) : His attack will leave a burning ground (200 AoE) that deals 10 damage per seconds for 5 seconds (His attack is Inferno)

110 damage is quite powerful, but 5s is enough for him to cause that damage Very Happy and he is a mage, with low hp and def and speed

btw you said you might look into more graphical side and download some models, ive seen some really good marine ones, knights and some cool looking revenant+skeleton reskins, perhaps some of the existing heroes models and sounds could be redone?

hero models take up quite a bit of map space. Back in 1.2.6 and the older 6.2 and supreme games, the T-Rex model was 1/5th of the entire map file size. I stay away from that due to 20 minute download times.

Icons are different, an icon is 10-15 kb, I can add a dozen icons, and still be half the size of adding a hero skin.

Yeah, I gotta re-do sounds... stupid sounds...

What the heck that weight +_+ I think Icon is max about 10kb, it's pretty small
Btw, you gonna add that Space Marine or Marine ? Space Marine is the Orc that holds a Flamethrower

innate: mayo-blast - same effect and animation as drunken haze.

voice: metamorphed Demon hunter.

This hero shuffles as it attacks, much like the large ? behind ragnarok with the same sound animation

My ideas for heroes, and one minor change (your choice)



Hero Name (Mumbo)
Hero Skin (Troll Berserker)
Hero Type (AGI Range)
Stats and bonus (22 + 2.5 str, 27 + 4 agi, 21 + 2 int)
Base Armor (2)
Move Speed (305 or 310)
Base Attack (1.9)

Base Ability (Troll Regeneration - The hero regenerates from battle quicker then other heroes. Maybe passive ability.)
Anything Additional: Could have a range of 500, but have a little quicker HP regeneration or higher base HP.





Hero Name (Skeletor)
Hero Skin (Skeleton Mage)
Hero Type (INT Range)
Stats and bonus (19 + 2 str, 23 + 3 agi, 26 + 4 int)
Base Armor (1)
Move Speed (295)
Base Attack (2)

Base Ability (Curse, like the one already in the map)
Anything Additional: due to small starting stats, range could be 650 or increased health.





Hero Name (Sasquatch)
Hero Skin (Sasquatch)
Hero Type (STR Melee)
Stats and bonus (35 + 4 str, 20 + 4 agi, 12 + 1.5 int)
Base Armor (2)
Move Speed (290)
Base Attack (2)

Base Ability (Evasion, like in the game)
Anything Additional: Due to high str per level, could have less attack speed

Hero Skin (Mountain Giant with fleshy skin) (pm me for skin)

On a separate note, i think the frost demon icon or model should match the other...
