Is it possible to swap the locations of the north spawn spots and the Rag teleporters? In 3v3 those spots are obviously worse than the other two major areas. They're farther away and the monsters are (I think) a bit too spread out.

Maybe my head's up my ass here but I think my suggestion fixes a lot of those problems.

suggestions go in the suggestion thread, but....

Everything in the game isnt balances, the top spawns are much further away, but are also much safer, and the creeps that spawn there spawn at a lower level. these spawns are `noob spawns` so a player falling behind can go fight weaker creeps, that are more spaced out, without the fear of being ganked. This was actually all slayerdragons doing, so dont give me credit, while looking through his script i noticed the special triggers for these things. really, it is a very good idea, especially for bigger games. and now that everyone uses fast and extreme creeps, there is really no reason to go to the top spawn unless you need the security of it.

I think a good solution to this problem would be to create a sort of one way port to mid. You know how the rag portal teleports the enemy to the middle of the map if they step on your port? How about having it do the same thing for freindly units until the portals unlocked?

i think the game is becoming easy enough without adding all these other things so players dont even need to walk...

this game is becoming very weak, and i understand why the older players are leaving. with all this easy mode stuff i am bringing in noobs by the hundreds, but it is taking a lot of skill from the game that kept people playing it for years.

if you dont want to spend an extra 3 seconds walking to the top spawn, then dont do it. if it is more benificial than walking to one of the mid spawns, and wishing no one ganks you, then take the 3 extra seconds to walk up top.

i intend to make the next edit a little more difficult, and I will be adding `Noob Mode` and `Pro mode` noob mode will of course be easy, but there will be no hiding the fact that you are a noob. pro mode, will be difficult, but will allow people to challenge themselves if they feel like their reputation is based on their ability in CHA. this will allow for noobs to play, pros to play, and everyone else to at least be challenged.

I think all the modes are lame aside from unlim weapons, so a pro mode sounds kinda awesome.

If i can do a sggestion....it would be to do something about the HS orb because i never saw anebody using it....now u use ur criativity to do something ... idk can be a armor or weapon or just a recipe to a master orb that would be good in limited weapons game similar to iron gauntles....idk that is just a suggestion >.<

wrong topic; all suggestions go in the suggestions thread, towards the bottom of the index page.

But to address this; I have considered doing various things with the HS orb; but am unsure what. I cant even remember the stats... like 55 stats, 30 damage, 7 armor, and castable spell immunity... it really isnt bad; it is just hard to get. Because it is cheap though, I cant make it really powerful, or they will become too game changing. I could swap out the 30 damage for 10 life regen; that would be a good trade... maybe 7 armor to 12 armor. That would be as far as i am willing to go though...

Most dont even know about its existence or even what HS stands for.

Aside from that.. Its components are decent when you make it and sell it can make you a nifty what 3500 profit what is it +94 damage for 4000 gold.

I guess a decent suggestion would be to take the HS-Orb and have it combine with things perhaps something like this.

HS+Tetra+MassiveGoblinBombs= Immortals Bomb Set

or
HS+Tetra+BeltofLife= Immortals Life Force (Probabally a group heal using scroll of protection as a base skill for this)

or

HS+Tetra+Belt of Magic= Immortals Pot of Magic

Maybe toss in the newer sets you know assassins garb etc..

Actually, I think this is one of the best recent suggestions you have had! Give some use to the less used items; and the whole "essence" effect goes well with consumables. Willing to bet all of the items involved would remain unused due to ignorance... but still... Good suggestion!

that it would be nice if they were reusable.Say insted of having a set number of charges have a set CD.that would make them a bit more popular I think.But it is really your decision.

Lmao, unlimited use potions? Really, for their price, they are OP. If I ever have the slightest notion that I might lose a duel, i spend that extra 500G-1000G on a good potion. I mean, you get 250 more from winning, like, 100 + hero level X25, and you dont lose the 20Xhero level from the death... There is no reason that EVERYONE shouldnt have one EVERY duel. Going by that; potions are classified as OP; but no one uses them enough.

You want a cycle of heals, go for a healing belt, or eternal set.

To be fair 90% of the games played are one sided and it hardly makes a real difference if you buy consumable or not. What Glorn said is true but to buy a consumable and still lose= More Gold lost and the match decided way more faster then usual.

To recap do your really need to buy a consumable when your level 9 and your oponents are like level 5 and 6? Will that consumable do them any good when you have a good +75 damage and 1000 more hp then them?

Consumables in close matches= Imba
Consumables when your 5 levels behind= Near useless
Consumables when you can basically 2 shot them= Pointless

That said certain situations should be auto buy consumables for example Elements be surprised how many times that 1000 gold has saved me when gank or when a miscalculation occurs.

yeah; another good point on elements. you get 2k for killing one, plus the essence. with a 2000 HP heal, they become a LOT easier.

Sure, public games are often imbalanced... but they also play all nobb modes. the general public build falls along the lines of "dark elf, all bonus stats into agility, rush an eternal axe"

When deciding what is useful and balanced, you have to base it on the theory that teams or players are of equal skill. really, if someone is 9 and you are 6 for the first duel; there is no reason to even play the game. but simply because of that isnt enough reason for half the players to remain.

essentially, No one should ever play a 1v1 with me, because before it starts, it can be assumed that I will win. But people still try, and put in the effort to win -even though they dont.

you can still put in that extra gold to win; and if you lose with it, then you would have lost anyway. If you dont need it, you can throw it on the ground for the next fight. If you are good enough to never have needed it, then the minor gold spent on it wasnt a waste; and you have no right playing that game in the first place against an opponent you could have already beaten.

See where that kinda theory leads? Why buy a video game if you will eventually beat it?
